Nov 17 sermon
1– Is there an area of your life where Satan has made some inroads in your life? What can you do to strengthen that area?
2 — Read Genesis 13:10-11. How did Lot decide which direction he would go?.
       Read Genesis 19:1.  How did that decision affect where Lot ultimately ended up? FOR leaders—city gate was where the leaders of the city sat. He had become a leader sitting in the middle of wickedness
       Read Genesis 19:17-26. What was the end result? How does it illustrate what Jesus tells us in John 10:10
3 — What in your life are you the most devoted to? What is something you have had to give up because of that devotion?
4 — Would you say you are devoted to Christ? If so, what have you given up for Him? What do you need to give up?
5 — Is there an area of our lives where we try to include Chris, but not totally surrender it to Christ?
6 — What ‘High Place or Asherah Pole’ has not been removed from your life? How do you feel not removing it has affected your relationship with God?

1– Has there been a time in your life when someone saw your ability to do something that you did not see in yourself?

2– Looking back over your life, can you see a time when God used something that was unpleasant at the time to prepare you for something he had planned for you? Are you willing to share it with others?
3–Looking back over your experiences in life, what others see affirm in you and the opportunities that God has given you, are you doing what God has prepared you to do?
4– Read Exodus 8:8 and Exodus 8:19. Who got recognition for what God was doing through Moses?
5– What is the main reason we do not think we can do what God calls us to do? Read Colossians 3:1-2
6– What do you think was the biggest reason Moses did not want to do what God was telling him to do?
7– Is there something you feel God is calling you to do that you have not done yet? What is keeping you from doing it?

1– What is the most important thing you have forgotten?
2– Does being united mean that everyone will always agree on everything? Why or why not?
3– What creates unity among people who have differences?
4– In what ways do you forget what Jesus has done for you?
5– What can you put in place in your life as a reminder to you of the importance of what Jesus has done for you?
6– Read James 1:23-25. What does this tell us about not applying scripture to our lives?
