We have several teams where you can serve God through serving in the church.

If you haven’t already, plan to attend a Connect Class for more information about Lifeline, and a  Plugged In Class to learn more about your own spiritual gifts and what your personality type is – it will help you pinpoint where your gifts can be used to further the Kingdom of God!

At the bottom of this page is a form where you can volunteer for different teams. This is a way to “try it out” before you make a commitment.

  • Cleaning Team (leader – Jan Newton) cleans the common areas of the church each week. Specific areas, such as the kids and youth areas, kitchen, etc should be maintained by those respective teams.
  • Equip Team (leader – Stephanie Davison) – heads up quarterly Connect and Plugged In classes. This includes serving meals, having materials ready, setting up, cleaning up and having a nursery available for each class.
  • Kids Team (leader – Beth Rogers, interim) – serves with kids ministries on Wednesday night Kingdom Kids and Sunday morning children’s ministry and nursery. This includes check-in, food, games, teaching, music and everything involved during these times. Also responsible for cleaning the areas used by the kids each week and coordinating with other teams regarding nursery needs for certain classes and events.
  • Media Team (leader – Rachel Till) – Operates computers during services and practices, creates graphics, posts church updates and events on social media, creates and edits videos and sermon bumpers, and assists the pastor and worship leader. Also maintains the church app and website.
  • Outreach Team (leader –  ) Plans and coordinates 3 or 4 outreaches yearly. Finds way to get Lifeline Church involved in community events and projects.
  • Prayer Team (leader – Bridgette Cook) Arrives early to the church every Sunday before worship. Prays over each room and the people will be in that room and for what God will do in that room. The larger this team, the more prayer covering for the church throughout the week, especially on Wednesdays.
  • Pulse Group (leader – Jeff Roman Clayton) – Serve with small group Bible studies, host groups, lead groups, help find resources and keeps resourced on Plugged In table current and available for all small groups.
  • Hosting Team (leader – Jan Newton) Prepares meals for church services and events, such as Sunday breakfast and Connect Class lunch. Keeps the kitchen clean and stocked with all needed supplies.
  • Security Team (Leader – Sherman Ramos) Ensures doors are open and lights are on before services and closed/turned off after- this includes other church functions such as Wednesday nights and other times when the church may be utilized. Also ensures certain doors are locked once services begin for the safety of our children.
  • Welcome Team ( leader – Taylor Clayton) Greets people at the front doors. Offers visitors refreshments and connect cards. follows up with visitors in the coming week. Gets info to the pastor so he can follow up as needed (baptism, membership, etc). Stocks the Plugged In tables up front with refreshments, coffee, snacks, etc and keeps giveaway items stocked (pens, cups, water bottles, etc)
  • Worship Team (leader – Julia Kirby , interim) Leads the church in worship each Sunday and practices during the week. Works with sound tech on continual improvements to sound quality.
