6– Read Genesis 45:14-15. What did Joseph’s forgiveness of his brothers lead to?
7— Read Genesis 50:15-21. What does VS 2-21 say about forgetting and forgiving?

6– When away from home, how long before you long to be back home? Why?
7– Read Hebrews 11:8-10. How did Abraham, Isaac and Jacob live their lives? Is that how you live your life? What do you need to change to live like they lived?

3– What is the difference in saying ‘I sin’ vs saying ‘I am a sinner’?

5- Has there been a time in your life when a small victory has encouraged you to keep doing something that was difficult?

Oct 13 sermon
1– Are there times when you love someone while they are not very lovable?
2– What is the difference between doing something and being something? ( For Example–I can cook vs I am a cook)
3– If it is true that what we do defines who we are; how does this relate to our relationship with Christ?
4– Has there ever been a time when someone loved you even though you were not loveable?
5- Has there ever been a time that you gave up something for someone who was not a family member? Why did you do it?
6– How hard is it to forgive someone who hasn’t asked for forgiveness? Why is that important for us to do?
7– What part of love mentioned in 1 Corinthians 13 do you struggle with the most?
8– In what ways have you become more like your parents as you have matured?
9– Read Ephesians 4:25-5:2. Paul is telling his readers some of the areas of their lives that are to change because of the love Jesus has shown them. What is the biggest area of your life that needs to change because of that same love? How does Paul tell us to do it? (Note 5:1-2)

4– What is an example from your life about the difference between knowing and believing something.
5– Is there something in your life that you find hard, but not a burden? Why?
6– Do you have a relationship in your life that is stronger because your walk with Christ is stronger?
7– Read James 4:17. As you read this verse what comes to mind?
8– Read Matthew 11:28-30 at least three times. As you do, underline the words that stand out to you. What is God telling you?
9– Read John 16:33. Underline the words ‘I have overcome’. Read this verse again and underline what that victory gives.
10– What makes difficulties not burdensome when victory is promised? Is that how you are living for Jesus?
