1– Think about what you do each day. As you do, ask yourself the question, “Is Jesus Lord?”
2 — Is there an area that comes to mind where Jesus is not Lord?
3 — The statement was made “If Jesus is not Lord of your life, you will betray Him for what is.” We see how this happened in the life of Judas. Has it ever happened to you? Could it?
4 — Read Deuteronomy 16:3. What did God tell the people the unleavened bread was for?
5– Read John 8:34 and Romans 6:17-18. What do these verses tell us about our lives and sin?
6 — The bread represents Jesus’ body that delivered us from sin. Can we have Jesus as Lord if we are not delivered from sin?
7 — How has being delivered changed your life?
8 — Read Romans 3:23-24. What does it mean to be redeemed?

9 — Read the following Verses. Ephesians 1:7, Romans 5:17, Galatians 3:13, Galatians 4:5, Colossians 1:20 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. What do these scriptures tell us being redeemed means for us?
10 — How has understanding you have been redeemed changed your life?

1 — What is something you take to someone else to fix when it becomes a problem?
2 — Can you think of a time when Jesus has spoken directly to you when you were not seeking Him?
3– Are there times when you look fine on the outside but are hurting and need healing on the inside to be whole again?
4 — There is indication in our story, the man was once whole. Something happened that caused his problems. He had lived with it 38 years and it had crippled him. Is there something in your life that is crippling you that only Jesus can make whole?
5– If there is something you have given to Jesus and been made whole, would you like to share it with others as an encouragement for them?
6– Before Jesus, was there a situation in your life that was hopeless?
7 — Do you want to be whole? What needs to change in your life so you can be whole?
8 — What is something you have been wanting to do but have not done. Why have you not done it?
9 — Is there something you really want from Jesus? What are you willing to walk away from to get it?
10 — Is there an area of your life you need to surrender to Jesus to be whole?

1 — Do you think success hinders our being obedient at times? Why or why not?
2 — Do you find it hard to be obedient when what you are being told to do does not make sense to you? Can you think of a time when we were obedient even though you had doubts, and the results were great.
3 — Can you think of a time when you were not obedient and you missed out on something you wish you could have been a part of?
4 — What would change about you if you were suddenly in the presence of God? Would you change something you are doing?
5– When was the last time you were truly humbled before Jesus because of something Jesus did in your life? What was your response?
6 — What is something unique in your life that would enable you to share Jesus with someone?
7 — Is there an experience you have been through that would enable you to share Jesus that others may not have had?
8 — In thinking about your answers for questions 5 & 6, when is the last time you shared Jesus with someone.
9 — Have you felt God calling you to do something? How did you answer the call?
10 — Read John 10:10. Have you ever been too busy to answer when God called? According to these words of Jesus when we do not answer the call what is the outcome?

1 — Do you ever get calls at times that are not convenient? If so, what determines if you answer the call.
2 — When was the last time you received a call that interrupted what you were doing?
3 — Why was Simon’s call from Jesus at a bad time? Why was it at the best time?
4 — Can you think of a time when you were asked to do something that made no sense? Why did it make no sense?
5 — Can you think of a time when something made no sense, but looking back it was the best thing to do?
6 — Why would Simon do what Jesus told him even though it made no sense?
7 — Read 2 Cor 12:8-10. Why does Paul say God’s not doing what made sense to him turn out for the best?
8 — What does the way you answer a call say about the relationship you have with the one calling?
9 – What does the way you answer God’s call say about your relationship with him?
10 — Is there something God has been calling you to do that you have not done? Why or why not?

If you came into contact with someone you had not seen since you accepted Christ, what would they notice as different because of your relationship with Jesus?
What is the difference between being afraid and fear? What is something that you fear and why?
Is there something in your life that living for Jesus is a threat to?
Sunday the question was asked, “How can someone who died in our place be a threat”? How would you answer that question?
Do you think your relationship with Jesus is a threat to others at times?
What is something you do that causes others to see the change Jesus has made in your life?
Is there someone in your family or workplace that needs Jesus? How can you share the difference he makes with them?

2– What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus? Are you following?
3 – If we are following Jesus, what does this tell us when we encounter storms in life?
4 — When going through a storm, does it draw you closer to Jesus? Why or why not.
5 — Read Matthew 7:24-27. What does it tell us about storms? Does this give you encouragement while going through storms?
6 — Can you think of a time when Jesus was ‘The Calm’ in a storm you were experiencing? Would you like to share that experience?
7 — Has there ever been a time when a sudden storm caused you to turn back to Jesus?
8 — Looking back at a storm you may have gone through, can you see how Jesus used it to grow your faith and prepare you for what he was doing in your life?
